Rev. Paul Thankgod Ekeasi was born on November 25th 1958 to the family of late Mr. & Mrs. Julius Iheukwumere Ekeasi of Umudim-Oheahia Akawa Nneato in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria.
He attended Nneato Central School, Ebelebe from 1970-1975 for his Primary Education. On the 5th of January 1976 he left his village and travelled to Aba and from Aba to Benin City on the 6th of January 1976 to learn trade under his master. He completed 4 years of stewardship and was settled in 1979 in accordance to terms as earlier agreed.
During Evangelist T.L. Osborn’s crusade of 1978 in Benin City he had his first experience with the Lord but did not yield positive result as he was still serving under his master. But in 1980, he now being a master of his own served with great zeal under Church of God Mission Pastored by the Late Arch. Bishop Benson Idahosa.
In 1981, God spoke to him that Assemblies of God Benin 1 is where he should worship and that was how he became a member of Assemblies of God.
After 6 years of dragging with the Lord, he bowed to God’s will in 1986 and became a student of Midwest Bible School, February 3rd 1987 and graduated with a Diploma in Theology on November, 18th 1989. He also holds B.A Christian Education from (Ewu) and M.A Missiology, Jos.
He served as a Pastor, Sectional Leader, Member of the Presbytery. He is currently the District Superintendent of Edo District and Executive Committee Member, South-South Zone 5.
He is married to Evang. Mrs. Mary E. Ekeasi and the union is blessed with a son, Mr. Kelechukwu Kwenyerechukwu Ikechukwu Ekeasi (Junior).
